By using a Sacramento Press advertising services you agree to the below terms of service. Acceptance of terms equate to entering into an advertising agreement between Sacramento Press, herein after called Agency, and your company, herein after called Advertiser. The agreement will be made effective immediately and will expire on a date determined at the time of term acceptance, unless otherwise stated on the advertising quote.
The Agency is organized under the laws of the State of California and is in the business of assisting clients on advertising matters, including preparation of advertising material and presenting advertising materials electronically on the Sacramento Press website. All such advertising displayed on said website is electronic only. There is no agreement for print advertising.
- Agency Services. The Agency agrees to display the Advertiser’s electronic advertisement on the Sacramento Press website and provide branding services on a Sponsor-designated page and in weekly newsletters on a rotating basis. If a News from a Sponsors package is added, the Agency will publish one sponsored article on a singular or monthly basis, depending upon the agreed service outlined in the advertising quote.
- Advertiser Responsibilities. The Advertiser agrees to provide the Agency with electronic advertising files/images in the size agreed upon at the time of acceptance of these terms. The Advertiser agrees to pay the monthly advertising rate, on time, for such advertising services.
- Ad Placement. Banner ads will be displayed on the website in the size and location specified in the advertising quote. Banner ads may be displayed with a maximum of one other advertiser in the same ad space, for which both will be featured in equal weight and displayed in a rotation of 10 seconds each.
- Payments/Invoice/Late Charges. The Agency will invoice the Advertiser for ad services to be completed the following month. Should services be contracted in excess of one month, the Agency will invoice the Advertiser on a recurring basis beginning on the date for which banner ads went live on the site. Any monthly fee that is not paid in full within 30 days will receive a 10% (ten-percent) penalty fee added to the monthly fee. Failure to make payment will result in suspension of advertising and/or services. Payment may be made electronically or by check. The Advertiser may also request to be billed in full for ad services to be completed for term of contract.
- Design Fees. The Advertiser understands that their monthly rate does not include design work. Should design work be requested by the Advertiser, design work will be billed at a rate of $60.00 (sixty-dollars) per hour.
- Approval/Point of Contact. Should the Agency be charged with design services, all design work approval must be in writing from the designated Point of Contact, as agreed upon in this agreement.
- Advertising Deadlines. The Advertiser must provide written approval of advertisement prior to advertisement being displayed on said website. Should the Agency provide design work, the Advertiser will have two business days to provide approval or request changes. If neither written approval or requested changes is received within two business days of delivery of advertisement, the Agency will assume the advertisement is approved and the advertisement will be displayed on said website.
- News from Our Sponsors Package. In the event that this agreement includes a News from Our Sponsors package, the Agency agrees to publish content written by the Agency and/or the Advertiser, depending on the agreement made at the time of acceptance or these terms. All content and media provided by the Agency will be published on said website with permission of the Agency and will follow Agency guidelines. Content submitted by the Advertiser will be reviewed by an Editor prior to publication to ensure Agency guidelines are followed. The owner of media (i.e. photos, videos, etc.) will be credited within the body of published content. Content and media will follow standard U.S. copyright laws.
