With more than 500 native, rare, and endangered animals on 14+ acres, the Sacramento Zoo does round-the-clock work to keep the zoo running and the animals (and guests!) happy. This requires a lot of food, resources, and thoughtfulness about the programs and initiatives that will promote animal welfare, conservation, and public education. The zoo also hosts a variety of fun events throughout the year that allows guests to experience the zoo in whole new way.
So what does it take to make it all happen? Check out our infographic of the zoo’s 2016 recap of events attended, initiatives completed, and food consumed…by animals and people alike!
