Lightning in a Bottle will return to Bradley, CA, Memorial Day Weekend and will bring with it some changes that will make for a better overall experience for guests participating in this music and camping festival.
New this year, Lightning in a Bottle (LIB) will add an extra day without music to help everyone get acclimated to their new environment in addition to providing exclusive offers just for early guests.
With the intention to enrich community and connection before the music starts, this transformative change will allow Early Arrival Pass holders time to set up their camp sites, meet other attendees and get familiar with their living space for the next few days. They will also have early access to the epic Grand Artique trading post and exclusive access to speakers, workshops, classes and yoga at LIB’s unique venues.
In the past, Lightning in a Bottle has been a 4 day festival, with music, yoga, speakers, interactive art and so many activities. Much is the same this year except for the added day to the music and camping festival that also offers a spiritual and educational experience for your down times before or in between sets.
It’s always fun exploring the festival grounds in the beginning hours of first entering the festival. With the extra day there will be plenty of time to get familiar with the lay of the land, find the quickest routes from one stage to another and, of course, scout out the art.
LIB also has music line-up that is something to get excited about. It’s packed with top acts like Grimes, Chet Faker and Jamie XX headlining the festival with support by Cashmere Cat, Big Gigantic, Panty Raid and more! It’ll be nice to see the magical Earth Harp return to the main stage, and hopefully see heavy bass-hitters Mr. Carmack, Mija and Tokimonsta on the Thunder Stage. Check out the full line-up below.
This festival is extremely hot during the day and cold at night. Make sure to bring shade structures, a tent, lots of water and warm clothes for night time. If you plan on making the trek to Bradley, CA, this May, this festival is not for the weak!
