One of California’s coastal charms is the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Home to 35,000 creatures in 34 extraordinary galleries, it’s about a three-hour drive from Sacramento. The aquarium is situated next to the beautiful Monterey coastline at the end of Cannery Row, a street made famous by John Steinbeck’s novel of the same name. The street offers great shops, restaurants, and places to unwind. And the Aquarium is just one of those places.
