Free Food Literacy Fair this Saturday

On Saturday, September 22, Assemblymember Roger Dickinson is hosting a free food literacy fair in Sacramento in partnership with nonprofit California Food Literacy Center, and the Oak Park Farmers Market, a project of NeighborWorks Sacramento. At 10:30am, Dickinson will welcome attendees at a brief press conference followed by a food demonstration featuring a local chef and her 15-year-old sous chef, a participant in this month's food literacy recipe contest. Assemblymember Dickinson to Introduce Bill to Help Prevent Athlete Sexual Abuse

Assemblymember Dickinson Hosting a Free Citizenship Fair

On November 19, Assemblymember Dickinson, along with Senate pro Tem Darrell Steinberg and U.S. Congresswoman Doris Matsui, is hosting a free Citizenship Fair at Pacific McGeorge School of Law Student Center in Sacramento to assist legal permanent residents in good standing with the citizenship application process. Currently, California has over 2.4 million eligible legal permanent residents. Celebrate Sacramento Community Festival This Saturday

On Saturday, October 1, Assemblymember Roger Dickinson is hosting a free community festival, Celebrate Sacramento, at the Florin Light Rail Station.
