I think you failed to mention the mural near 21st street liquors, in the alley between K and L streets and 21st and 22nd streets, on the west end on the cigarette shop. I walk by it all the time because I work near there. It's really cool if you're in the area.

I was in the very front. There was no mosh pit, and that was a huge disappointment. These guys are evoking this Nirvana thing that should make people want to jump around and rage a bit, but unfortunately the crowd was very mid-town about the whole thing. It's like the hipsters have all forgotten that bands used to know how to rock out and be raw, and they've consigned anything more than an awkward head bob to metal fans in favor of the thousands of electro-pop and airy MGMT rip-offs that populate things like Outsidelands and Treasure Island. The show was great nonetheless, but I was very disappointed that the crown didn't meet the level the band was capable of.
