Welcome and congratulations, Jared!
I'm excited about the project. Kombucha is an amazing beverage and I'm glad it's becoming more popular.
Sounds delectable! If only I didn't work Saturdays...
Del Paso Heights Library (920 Grand Ave. in Sac) will also be having an egg hunt and story time Saturday at 3:30pm.
Nice shots! I rode my scooter down Hwy 49 after some hiking near Lake Clementine yesterday. Beautiful country. The view from Foresthill Bridge was impressive, though the construction on the structure dampened the mood a bit.
Bravo to ALA and participants; thirty-four floors sounds intense.
Good to know. It does make working the graveyard shift and sleeping during the day a bit less appealing, though.
I ride a scooter, and I learned last week that braking must be done very gently on wet roads. It was pouring out and I was slowing before a stop sign. When I gripped the brakes to complete the stop, my ride just toppled down right under me. Fortunately, it was on Edison Avenue and not in the middle of Auburn Boulevard.
Last year I was a deluded 17-year-old who thought she could rock the workforce without a degree. Then I got laid off and failed in a job search, so I started community college. I've been enjoying it immensely and won't ever regret pursuing higher education.
What fun! Who wouldn't want to cruise around in a gigantic shopping cart?
I've never done roller derby (I'm the occasional casual skater) but I work for a member of the Sac City Rollers. She's definitely one of the coolest bosses I've ever had.
