I should have verified that, before I left. Anyone who loves music and blues as much as they both do are "Family" I also missed on the date which I should have flash forward 42 years. The decades are flying by faster then I can count. I also wanted to add a note about Stafanie Keys who is an excellent singer in her own right and did a fabulous job belting out many of Big Brother's Classic Hits. Even before Janis passed and since, BBHC has gone thru a variety of lead singers all of which have contributed their own personality and style. It is also my opinion, and I agree with the comment above that Big Brother deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Janis Joplin. I left this out of the review because I do not want the band to be perceived as bitter or that they do not even like or never liked Joplin.
