Maryellen Burns, local arts maven, education director for MatrixArts, a local non-profit arts group, plus free-lance writer/editor and funding expert. Soon, I'm launching a new literary magazine -- aftertaste -- a forum plus tons of resources for home cooks, eaters, food producers, travelers, cultural historians, writers, artists, and others who care about the who, what, where, when, how, and why of what we eat. I also facilitate workshops, talks, and forums on topics as far ranging as Funding Your Dream, Indie Publishing, Food and Travel Writing, Creative Non-Fiction, and Performance Anxiety.
