Wow, that was one fugly building on the outside; I'm glad it's covered in ivy now. Regardless, I had no idea it was a mid-century modern icon. Looking at the Flickr pictures posted above, redecorating to play up its MCM look and turning it into a boutique hotel seems like a good idea. I agree with the poster above -- someone get in touch with the Joie de Vivre people!
