Kings’ Poor Second Quarter Halts Last Second Comeback Against Knicks.

With both the Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks going into Wednesday night’s game on a five-game and six-game losing streak respectively, both teams were looking to get back on the winning track. You would think the Kings would have a good chance of winning this one. Star guard Tyreke Evans was good to go after spraining his left ankle in Sunday’s loss against the Detroit Pistons, and they were playing a 3-8 Knicks team that was just coming off a high-scoring game against the Denver Nuggets the night before. The support and excitement of all Sacramentans and Kings fans for Evans could have a large part in helping the former Memphis Tiger possibly win the award. With a banner that read, “RALLY FOR ’REKE, ROOKIE OF THE YEAR” behind him and local leaders, regional leaders, Slamson and Kings dancers alongside him, Mayor Kevin Johnson announced at a press conference Tuesday morning that March 10 would be ‘Rally for RekeROY Night’ at Arco Arena. The Kings will
