The City of Sacramento Department of Parks and Recreation Neighborhood Services Division announce a series of public meetings throughout the City to discuss disaster preparedness. “These meetings are designed to help residents understand the risks of flooding and how they can best be prepared,” said Vincene Jones, Neighborhood Services Division Manager for Department of Parks and Recreation. The City-County Office of Emergency Services, Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency, City of Sacramento Fire and Police Departments will be in attendance at these events, as well as the Department of Utilities and Animal Care Services.
