On September 15th, at the Capitol, 12 awesome food trucks are getting together to help celebrate Mexican Independence Day! I know what you are thinking, isn't Cinco de Mayo supposed to be for that? Oh contrare! September 16th is the actual day. If you went to the last SactoMofo food truck festival at Fremont park back in April, then you know just how crazy popular this has become in Sacramento. It was packed from the moment it opened until the time it closed! The organizers weren't expecting such a huge crowd, and unfortunately most trucks weren't prepared to handled that many people. Wait lines were horrendously long, and a lot of people stood in line for hours just to hear that the food

No, Not Everyone Who Lives in Roseville wears Ed Hardy

So please stop categorizing us as such. I'm not sure what it is about you downtown folk. I know firsthand it's hard as hell to get any of you to leave the grid. Yes, I know, a lot of you don't own cars, and lord knows you can't ride your fixie all the way to Rocklin. No, it's not that far, actually. A lot of us up here drive down there all the time. ALL. THE. TIME. I suppose if I want to see some of my friends I have to come to them? Apparently. But I digress. I have heard so many times people from Sacramento blast us up here in the 'burbs. We eat here like once a week or so. The staff is uber friendly, and the food is delicious. We typically come for lunch, but I am dying to try their infamous brunch! Their bar is GORGEOUS! Love this little spot!
