Here’s more evidence that there are angels among us.  The Threshold Choir is a nationwide network of choirs, almost exclusively of women, whose purpose is to “bring ease and comfort to those at the thresholds of living and dying.”  At the heart of their work is singing at bedsides, in harmony and in groups of two to four, at the invitation of family and caregivers.  They say that a typical session lasts 20 minutes, with many of the songs composed by Choir members themselves.  The songs are non-religious, but spiritual nonetheless, and designed to give rest and comfort.
