About MeMelody Stone began her career as a rock journalist in the secluded county of Humboldt, Ca. After landing her dream job as a local entertainment editor, Melody found herself unemployed when her paper went under. She tried her hand at hard-news for a time and realized she found city government and bicycle advocacy fascinating but still enjoyed having a few days to work on a piece instead of a few hours. So she transitioned into freelance writing and spends a lot of her time tending her urban garden, updating her blog, riding her bike and drinking americanos at her favorite Sacramento coffee shops. |
