Not at all, I think both piercings and tattoos can be something unique and beautiful. I do however have yet to encounter anyone in an executive leadership, or professional management position with gauges in their ears, or a teardrop tattoo (celebrity and pro-athletes excluded). I believe that a lot of well meaning creative individuals are likely excluding themselves from future opportunities because they wanted some kind of superfluous body modification.

@GeorgeWilson, I can only imagine it leaves all sorts of lovely scars and stretched skin. I sometimes think the demographic for extreme piercing/implants and face tattoos is compiled of only a few targets. People who regret it, people who want to ensure a lifetime of working in the service sector, and people who regret it and spend a lifetime working in the service sector.

I have always wondered why they don't have a normal traffic light here. I have moments driving around town where I wonder if Midtown/Downtown are some sort of civil engineering practical joke.

German beer house with electronic pop dance music, nailed it! Seriously though, I'm excited about this place for the great beer menu alone. I really hope the menu pricing isn't over the top considering the main item is something inherently meant to be inexpensive.

I do hope they find a way to mitigate the smoke that emanates from the neighboring patio. I couldn't imagine eating anywhere near the front the golden bear.
