Environmentally conscious people wouldn't sell so many products made with palm oil. Oil palm plantations are destroying the last of the rainforests, leading to increased greenhouse gas emissions and animal extinction.

The Co-op board is well aware of this issue and the store still carries a large number of products contributing to the loss of rainforests.

Restaurant owners are the ones who didn't want food trucks operating. They didn't want the competition.

This is a chance for council members and businesses to support what's best for Sacramento: a lively, growing food scene, urban events or offerings that get people out into the community and bring suburbanites here, and yes: competition!

The NBA is in town to rescue the Maloofs from the situation they got themselves in: alienating previously loyal fans.

They need to use their resources and connections to find private investors to build a new arena. The only way I'm willing to kick in a little for an arena is to buy a Kings ticket if I decide to.

Is NBA seriously still considering keeping team in Sac. Or are they just playing us until Anaheim deal is worked out?

You see yourselves as "caring and conscientious." But in this story and your many comments, you come across as angry and bitter and hating anyone who doesn't agree 100 % with you or do what you want.

You tell others to unify the community. What about you? Are you accomplishing what you want or are you just tearing the community more apart?
