Environmentally conscious people wouldn't sell so many products made with palm oil. Oil palm plantations are destroying the last of the rainforests, leading to increased greenhouse gas emissions and animal extinction. The Co-op board is well aware of this issue and the store still carries a large number of products contributing to the loss of rainforests.

NCAA hasn't avoided the arena because there's anything wrong with it. Doesn't mean the Kings' owners want to keep the team there, but it sheds some light on the issues.

How could anyone give a thumbs down to honoring someone who fought discrimination?

Sactown could use more of these projects. Would be great to see businesses, organizations and even homeowners sponsor similar public art projects on alleys.
