On a serious note Sonny, I do admire your courage to tell your story in such detail. Being an alcoholic and knowing the disease of addiction I sympathize with anyone who must overcome the disease of addiction (the odds are against us) and travel the road to a more peaceful destiny like yourself. When I see homeless I wonder "what happened to them, what sort of tragedy or circumstances led to their destiny in being homeless"? since you are an outreach advocate for a homeless shelter you see, experience, and live the nightmare that these people must endure to survive and those stories are intriguing to me. If you continue writing I think sharing stories and sitatuations enlightens others to the reality of just how hard it is to find your way once homeless.
