We're not living in the woods of Vermont (or even the slopes of the Sierra). Fireplace fires in Sacramento are just plain dumb. Whenever it gets below 50 degrees outside people feel the need to pollute my neighborhood with their smoke, in the name of aesthetic pleasure. If you want to burn wood go live in the woods.
Those folks sure don't look sick, evidently sucking in all of that carcinogenic smoke really does cure what ails them, just wait for them all to come down with lung cancer in 10 years.
Not quite sure why Temple moved, their new location is very loud and doesn't seem much bigger (not to mention block further from the Capitol). They also seem to have raised their prices.
What about the disappearance of the "parkway" when it hits Old Sac. The trail currently "ends" at the boardwalk in Old Sac and there is no way to ride a bike through to where it starts up again on the other side of the Tower Bridge. This is certainly something that could be easily address as it is owned by the city.
All of this shenanigans makes me not want to shop at the Co-op anymore. As if the paltry natural food selection, 365 day a year signature gathers and unhelpful staff weren't enough.
