Second Annual Authors Day Event Hosted by Assistance League® of Sacramento "Can You Dig It: Unearthing California's Legends and Lore." Sacramento, CA - Charlotte Stott, President, Assistance League® of Sacramento announced that it will hold the second annual Authors' Day Event on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Sacramento Marriott Hotel, 11211 Point East Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA, from 9 am to 4 pm. The theme is “Can You Dig It: Unearthing California's Legends and Lore." Jo Anna Philips, author of The Savvy Shopper’s Guide to Thrift and Consignment Stores, is coming to the Assistance League Thrift Shop on: Friday, December 9th from Noon – 2 p.m. Ms. Phillips will will sign copies of her popular book that covers thrift shops in Auburn, Carson City, Cameron Park, Davis, Fallon, Gardnerville, Grass Valley, Incline Village, Jackson, Reno, Roseville, Sacramento, Tahoe and Vacaville. Ms. Philips is a popular author and speaker, former newspaper columnist, feature writer, TV and radio host.
