Preparing for the Date Ink Eats and Drinks has been around since 2003. The restaurant located on the corner of N St. and 28th St is a gem if you like that funky Midtown vibe. The ink in the name refers to the tattoo ink which is the theme of the restaurant. When preparing for this date with Ink anything goes. Dress in a way that is comfortable for you no need to impress or get overly done up unless that is your thing. Personally, I like a long skirt, gladiator sandals and a T-shirt. For guys cargos, T-shirt and sneakers will do the job. The atmosphere lends to comfortable attire. One of the plusses about Ink is the hours. They are open late on weekends and offer numerous specials you can
Q: I have recently broken up with my boyfriend of five years. In some ways it was heartbreaking, but in some ways it was just time. We grew apart and decided that there really wasn't a future for us as the people we had become. It still hurts though. Now I feel like I am lost and don't know what my next move is. I am 32, single and don't remember how to start looking for someone to date, not even sure if I want to. I am scared of being alone for the rest of my life, though. The Grizzlies used two relievers on the afternoon, with Josh Banks getting credit for the victory and Dan Otero collecting the save after the River Cats had the winning run at the plate in the ninth inning. Mark Ellis, who is on a rehab assignment for the Oakland Athletics, played in his second game and finished 0-3 with a walk. Ellis is scheduled to rejoin the A’s this week. Lenny D
No discussion on alternative rock circa 2000 would be complete without mention of Papa Roach and their radio-ready hit single “Last Resort,” especially if you were in high school or college during that time. The Vacaville band (also known for singles “Scars,” “Forever” and “Lifeline”) broke out of Sacramento and went on to sell more than 10 million albums worldwide. They return this weekend for a two-night stand at the recently opened venue Ace of Spades, touring behind their seventh album, "Time for Annihilation." More alternative rock than nu-metal now, the band can probably still be counted on to deliver a high-energy rock show filled with heavy guitars, sharp hooks and “guy liner.”
