When FM Radio was new: How KZAP was born

KZAP was a legendary Sacramento radio station at 98.5 FM from 1968 through 1992. During its first ten years the station brought a freeform approach to the airwaves, in which jocks were allowed to play whatever music they wanted. SacTV.com is now exploring local radio history, showcasing a series of video interviews with key radio personnel who helped build Sacramento's first big rock audience on FM radio.
