Dr. Mehmet Oz,  co-founder of HealthCorps with wife Lisa, made a productive visit to Sacramento recently.  Kids and grownups were equally excited. At the request of an English teacher and students at Hiram Johnson High School, Dr. Oz and Lisa Oz responded - with a visit. It was part of their nationwide tour to kick-off HealthCorps, a nonprofit effort to battle childhood obesity by enlisting young people into a mentoring/monitoring effort at the high school level. Perhaps the English class students nodding off in class decided to come up with a solution by having Dr. Oz  suggest some ways to benefit the students.
