Sacramento, CA | Officials at Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency have extended the deadline to apply online for the Housing Choice Voucher program (formerly Section 8) wait list until Friday, June 15, 2012. The deadline has been extended because many people are calling SHRA with concerns that some websites prompted them to order a credit report before they could fill out the wait list application. Applicants should be advised that they do not have to pay anything to apply for housing and a credit report is not needed in order to fill out an application.
