Blondie and Devo will be playing in Sunrise Mall on Friday night.

See the famous 1970s stars perform live at 7 p.m.

Blondie is a rock band started by singer Deborah Harry and guitarist Chris Stein that saw several hits in the 1970s that still resonate today.

Devo came together in 1972 and is most famous for the 1980 hit “Whip It.”

Concert tickets run from $39.50 - $82.50. Click here to buy.

The concert starts at 8 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Yeah. Ouch. What a turn-off at those prices. And as much as I like Blondie/Debbie Harry, she's now old enough to get Social Security!

yes, both entities are definitely past any point in their career when they can command such exorbitant fees if they ever did to begin with.

Wikipedia how I love you: Blondie - The band reformed in 1997, achieving renewed success and a number one single in the United Kingdom with "Maria" in 1999. The group toured and performed throughout the world during the following years, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006. Blondie has sold 40 million records worldwide and is still active today. Their ninth studio album, Panic of Girls, was released in 2011.-------------------------- I thought they were long gone, too.
