The concerts were held at Palladio at Broadstone during its inaugural year. Judging from the shows I saw I’m certain the concert series will return.
The Department of Rock is a retro rock band that delighted the audience at hand at the Palladio shopping center. Playing music from the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s and beyond, The Department of Rock’s music enticed audience members to move, jump and dance.

The band’s website describes them as; “The Department of Rock is a secret organization that monitors, supports, and defends your right to party. This organization was created under a presidential directive to police and monitor all partying rights. The Department of Rock’s ultimate mission is to protect and defend the nation from sub-standard rock. The Department of Rock will not rest until they have reshaped the world in their own image.”
Four Go-Go dancers performed during the performance. The dancers encouraged the audience to dance and their beauty and charm could not be refused. Fans of all ages danced and enjoyed the family friendly concert.

Several stores held grand openings and offered shopping discounts during the period “On the Stage” concert series was presented. The two month concert series was well received and audiences grew larger as local and regional acts were brought to the stage. I look forward to next year's concerts at Palladio.
