Concerts in the Park is about to close the 2012 season. The last concert will be held on Friday, July 27.
The July 20 concert has Walking Spanish, Jack and White, Autumn Sky and features CrookOne. The season finale will feature The Brodys, Early States, Hero’s Last Mission and features Chaotic Fusion.

This has been one of the most well attended seasons of Concerts in the Park also still known by many as Friday Night Concerts.

The July 13 show included The Left Hand, A Single Second, The Walking Dead, Another Damn Disappointment (ADD) and featured Blackheart.

Not only were these dynamic bands on the main stage but the show included performances by Supreme Pro Wrestling (SPW) who had a ring set up near J Street.

The always entertaining Supreme Pro Wrestling put together a handful of wrestling events for fans to enjoy. The ring was set close to J Street and a good size crowd gathered to see the good guys take on the wrestling villains to see who would claim bragging rights in and out of the ring.
The fantastic wrestling event entertained fans of all ages as SPW showcased various flying and stunning moves by the wrestlers.

A Single Second continues to be part of the CIP year in and year out. Shawn Peter, Aaron Holt, Jason 'Mogley' Tilsley and Dave Girard, as always, put on a great show.

A Single Second will be playing at the California State Fair on July 27. They will take the stage at 6 p.m. and Joan Jett will be headlining the show. This will be a great show and a good chance to show support for local bands.
I missed Left Hand and as I enjoyed the other sights and sound at CIP only caught a couple of songs by The Walking Dead.

Punk bands seem to outdo themselves and create a great atmosphere at the park. Mosh pits are pretty much controlled and are a great way to release tension and enjoy great music.

ADD did not live up to its name and their show had everyone moving to their deafening beats.

Join the many fans at Cesar Chavez Plaza to enjoy the last two shows of the year. Enjoy great ambiance, food, drinks, fun, friends and some great music from local bands.
