Lyle Lovett is in town and The Sacramento Press is giving away two pairs of tickets for the Saturday night show. The concert will begin at 8 p.m. at Jackson Hall, located at 9399 Old Davis Road in Davis.

Tweet at us @sacramentopress with #cowboyman or post a comment below by 11 a.m. tomorrow to be entered into the raffle. Make sure we can contact you at that time.

The drawing was done via Random.org, with the top name on the randomly generated list selected as the winner. We've included the time-stamped screen shots below for transparency's sake. Darn darn darn darn darn! Just saw this! Lyle Lovett is one of my favs! Wish I was there at the concert now instead of reading about it in a 2 day old online article! :)

Just returned home from the Lyle Lovett concert after receiving the free tickets from Sacramento Press. The concert was fantastic. The band sounded great (though a bit loud) and played a good mix of songs with old, new - and my favorite - bluegrass. Lyle was witty and self-deprecating and moved the show along at a good pace. The musicianship among the band members was top-notch. We even discovered a new Indian restaurant in Davis - Raja's Tandor. Fresh, flavorful dishes and attentive service by the owner, who you could tell took pride is serving a delicious meal and making his customers happy. Just wanted to say thanks to Sacramento Press for the concert tickets!
