Fourth of July fireworks at Cal Expo

Head to Cal Expo this Fourth of July for the area's largest fireworks display.

In its annual partnership with Sacramento County, the California Exposition & State Fair will shoot off fireworks to celebrate the nation's birthday.

The free event begins at 6 p.m. and includes music from local radio station 107.9 The End and live music from the United States Air Force Band. Once the sun sets and the skies go dark, officials will signal the launching of the fireworks.

Cal Expo is located at 1600 Exposition Blvd.
