FACES had a fun, flowing group of guys dressed in colorful lycra bouncing balls on a rainbow-like flag. (Image by: Kati Garner)

Lots of spectators showed up to watch Sac's PRIDE 2012 Parade as it successfully traveled its new route on N St. The only glitch was Regional Transit, God bless its heart, doing its usual run as the parade moved along!

It all worked out.

So, here we go. It was colorful and folks were in good spirits even with the heat: Dykes on Bikes (Image by: Kati Garner) Image by: Kati Garner Sac Valley Veterans Color Guard (Image by: Kati Garner) Image by: Kati Garner Image by: Kati Garner Image by: Kati Garner Image by: Kati Garner Cooler in the shade! Images of the guy in leather ready to be dominated is the reason people most people don't approve of this lifestyle. Tone it down, you don't need to flash it in eveyones face.

Kati, is that an acceptable response for people who express an opinion about a public display? So, if there is something you did not think is proper for public display, a response to you of "dont look" will be welcomed?

The arrogance and narcissism of those who make public spectacles, and then demand that no one notice....

It's a pride parade for individuals to express themselves without being judged. I agree with Kati if you don't like what you see don't look at pictures of a gay pride parade.

With all the enthusiasm and support as cities around California, and around the country in general, how are people feeling about Prop 8? Is California finally ready to follow other states like New York and Vermont by legalizing gay marriage?
