The City of Sacramento, Neighborhood Services Division is hosting the 3rd Annual Neighborhood Summit. The Neighborhood Summit is an opportunity for Sacramento’s residents and business owners to attend a variety of workshops revolving around neighborhoods and the residents who live in them. The theme for the Neighborhood Summit 2012 is “Best Practices for Neighborhoods,” several of the workshop titles include Building Communities from the Inside Out , Intergenerational Communities , Community Leadership and Public Safety .

Our keynote speaker is Tige Watts, the current president of Neighborhoods, USA. Neighborhoods USA is a national non-profit organization committed to building and strengthening neighborhood organizations.
