Mayor Cabaldon Proclaims January 14th

West Sac-Crab-Mento Day

(World’s Crabbiest Crab to Attend Rotary Fundraiser)

He’s Crabby, the World’s Crabbiest Crab. He’s boiling mad. And who can blame him?

His agent signed him to an event the crusty crustacean finds in bad taste, while those in attendance will be there for the good taste……….of crab…….at the Might Rotary Club of West Sacramento’s “claw-some” (sorry) Crab Feed to benefit The Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation and the West Sacramento Rotary Foundation. The Crab Feed takes place on Saturday, January 14, at Our Lady of Grace Church Hall, 1990 Linden Road, West Sacramento.
(6pm Cocktails, 7pm Dinner)

Crabby was shell-shocked (sorry) to learn that the event has been endorsed by West Sacramento Mayor Christopher Cabaldon, who, in an official proclamation has declared January 14, 2012 as West Sac-Crab-Mento Day in recognition of the Rotary’s popular crab feed.

Besides a sumptuous meal of antipasto, salad, crab, pasta and bread, festivities include:

* Dancing by blues rockers “Neckbone”
* Crab Shots (a special Rotary cocktail)
* Raffle & Silent Auction with “incrabible” (sorry) Prizes
* Outdoor Cigar Bar
* V.I.P. Table Package which includes a “medley catch” (sorry) of open bar, raffle tickets, option of picked & cleaned crab, and limousine service to and from the event….hey, this is not your father’s crab feed.

Advance tickets $50 at www.eventbrite.com or Call 927-1592
V.I.P. Package – Contact Doug Carson (916) 595-9501
