Instead of Mayor Fargo and the City Council giving Corporate Welfare tax breaks to high rise condo real estate developers to build apartments which now have a 40% vacancy rate downtown - I wish our local politicians gave tax break incentives to small businesses owned by mom and pop outfits like Estelles. We need more businesses like this on the floundering K Street Mall - even with the addition of some bars and nightclubs - K Street Mall still looks like a ghost town with half the store fronts vacant.
