Commute interrupted, vehicle crashes into downtown business

Sacramento, CA | Busy morning Downtown commute interrupted Tuesday morning when a vehicle crashed into a building.

Close to 7:30 Tuesday morning, the busy downtown commute was interrupted when a woman driving east on J Street, reportedly felt sick and passed out behind the wheel. Her vehicle hopped the curb and crashed into "Patino Building" at 1010 J St. The driver was transported to hospital via paramedics.

Ah.... correct. That's what happens when you hear someone say "Patio" and it sticks in your head even when it's right in front of your eyeballs... I even had a couple of people check it, so it escaped all of us. lol Thanx for catching that Tony.

Happily that's a mostly vacant retail stretch, so there weren't any pedestrians to run over. Not that she'd be charged or anything. It seems the Sac PD excuses any motorist who kills or injures a pedestrian, rarely filing a charge, it's just an accident. It just "happens".
