And we've made the same jokes about the channels flooding downtown Sacramento. Definitely we don't want repeat that. But the idea is not a series of channels, it's just one channel connecting Old Town Sacramento with downtown mall. It would be no more than 6 feet deep and 20 feet wide. To get a better idea you can check out the channel in the Venician hotel in Las Vegas. And in some cities in Europe the channels are decined to prevent flooding.
