I was just walking around there last night! I saw all of those houses you pictured. There's also a really cool one on 46th Street with lots of cartoon characters. Did you see that one?

I was on 42nd St and then corner of Folsom and 40th. They do a great job in East Sac!

I noticed that two "people" have given this feature a "thumbs down." I do not feel that such a rating is appropriate for the culture section of this paper. Your photos are great and display some of the positive aspects of our community. Writing and observing the positive about the Sacramento community should be done more often. Also, these pictures are great.

Laura, the thumbs up/thumbs down rating does not necessarily mean that someone didn't enjoy Kati's photos. They might have accidentally hit the button or perhaps a user doesn't enjoy photo essays. It's hard to say for sure. The best way for people to express their opinions is to comment on stories, in a respectful manner.

As you mentioned, Kati does a great job of capturing positive images all over the community and I'm sure the ratings don't even phase her...she's too busy taking pictures at the next event, anyway!
