Help a Mom in Need at the 8th Annual Movers for Moms Donation Drive
You can make Mother’s Day special for women and families in WEAVE.
Help make the difference by taking part in the 8th Annual Movers for Moms drive. Coordinated by Two Men and a Truck Sacramento and their partner The FISH, the month-long drive has two Saturdays left to collect donations the public wishes to drop off. Head to the Walgreens on Madison Ave. in Sacramento on Saturday, April 18 or to the Walgreens on Douglas Blvd. in Granite Bay on Saturday, April 25 to make donations while you still can.
Brand new wish list items such as combs, toiletries and clothes go directly to the families currently in WEAVE’s safe houses. Gently used items are accepted as well and will go to WEAVE’s thrift stores which help fund the nonprofits missions.
Two Men and a Truck and its partners want to make this Mother’s Day special for all moms, including those going through a rough time in their lives.
Last year, Movers for Moms Sacramento was able to collect more than 12,000 items to donate to WEAVE. This year’s goal is up to 14,000 and the public is really encouraged to get in on this great cause to show appreciation for these women.
The Walgreens in Sacramento is located at 5020 Madison Ave., and the Walgreens in Granite Bay is located at 4051 Douglas Blvd. For more information, visit twomenandatruck.com.
