Emmy-award comedian Paula Poundstone coming to Sacramento

Emmy-award winning comedian and author Paula Poundstone will return to Sacramento for a performance at the Crest Theater on Saturday, February 16th. Paula helps raise awareness for Friends of the Library groups as national spokesperson with United for Libraries: The Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations, a division of the American Library Association. The Friends of the Sacramento Public Library will host an information table at the event. Paula is also a member of the Friends of the Library, and will be raising money from this performance to help our Sacramento public libraries have more summer reading programs, author events, and computers. Paula says that if you haven’t been to the library lately, you’re overdue!  Please join us for this fun event and join our Friends of the Sacramento Public Library, too. These programs help hundreds of children and adults in our area to read much better, get their homework done, find work, go to college, and so much more.

Paula will perform at 7:30 PM (Doors open at: 6:30 PM). Tickets $42/35/27 on sale now at tickets.com, Crest Box Office, 1-800-225-2277.

Disclosure: I am a strong advocate for the California Public Libraries and Friends of the Sacramento Public Libraries
